14U, 16U & 19U Boys / Girls

The AYSO 14U program focuses on continued player development in a fun, competitive environment, introducing more advanced aspects of the game. Players are rotated through different positions to learn tactical strategies alongside technical skills. The program uses larger fields, a size 5 soccer ball, and teams may participate in inter-regional play. 

• Position Rotation: Players learn different roles and strategies on the field. 

• Play: Team play can be in our Region, Area &/or Section

• Game Structure: Games are played on Saturdays and may include postseason tournaments. 

• Equipment: Players need soccer cleats, shin guards, and a size 5 soccer ball. 

• Practice: Practices are usually held twice a week for 90 minutes.

• Drafted Teams: Teams are typically formed through a draft, with player ratings provided to coaches prior to the draft. 
  

• Referee System: Teams may need to provide referees for playoffs. 

• Playing Time: The 3/4 rule applies, ensuring all players have a chance to contribute. 

• Uniform: AYSO provides a uniform (jersey, shorts, socks).
