AYSO Region 87 is proud to invite your team to the 25th Annual AYSO Swallows Classic
| Scope: | AYSO Invitational – open only to AYSO teams from all Sections. |
| When: | Saturday & Sunday, June 27th through June 28th, 2026 |
| Where: | The tournament will be held at Sport spark & Marco Forster Fields in San Juan Capistrano, California. No pets are allowed on fields. |
| Who: | AYSO boys and girl’s teams in age divisions ;16-U (11v11) 18 players’ max; 14-U (11v11) 15 players max; 12-U (9v9) 12 players max and 10-U (7v7) 10 players max. All players must be registered and have played in the AYSO 2025 primary season. Guest players will be allowed (3 maximum per team). |
| What: | Pool play tournament. Each team will be guaranteed 3 games in pool play. The top teams will advance to the medal round on Sunday afternoon. All games will be as follows: 60 min. U-16, 50 min. for U-14, 50 min for U-12, and 50 min for U-10). |
| Why: | Proceeds from The Swallows Classic fund scholarships, regional costs, and field development for Region 87. |
| Awards: | All players on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd place teams will receive a trophy or medal. |
| Entry Fees and Refunds: | U16 $675 U14 $625 U12 $575 U10 $550 A full refund will be issued if tournament is canceled and cannot be rescheduled. If a team withdraws on or before June 1, 2026, a full refund is given. After June 1st, 2026, no refund is provided unless a replacement team is found. |
| Referee Deposit and Refunds: | Referee deposit is $350, refundable within 14 days after completion of tournament, if referee assignment requirements have been met. Each team is asked to provide a qualified 3-person referee team to cover at least 3 games, or for a total of 9 referee slots during the tournament. |

| Acceptance: | The application deadline is June 1, 2026. IMPORTANT: Our tournament quickly fills up so enter ASAP. All teams will be notified if accepted or rejected as to their status. Teams that are not accepted will be given the option to have their complete application returned or to be placed on the waiting list. |
| How: | Click here for the tournament application The online application contains everything needed to receive a preliminary acceptance. All forms must be fully completed and submitted prior to review. Once your completed application has been reviewed and approved, a preliminary acceptance will be issued as we fill brackets and divisions. Payment will be required for official acceptance. Please note: Entry into the tournament is not complete until payment has been received. Payment may be made by credit card (3% service fee applies) or by check. If paying by check, the mailing address will be provided on the invoice. Regions will submit one combined payment covering both the entry and referee fees. |
