Fall 2024 (My 2024) - Region 87 SJC / Dana Point

WELCOME TO AYSO Region 87 - San Juan Capistrano / Dana Point!
If this is your first season with us, WELCOME! If you have played with us before, we welcome you back! We truly believe AYSO is a well laid out program with incredible volunteers, including well-trained coaches and referees.

SEASON INFORMATION
General - The season begins the 1st Saturday after Labor Day & continues for approximately 10 weeks.
  • Post season tournaments vary widely by age division.
Game Days & Locations - USUALLY on Saturdays
  • Playground (4U), Jamboree (5U), 6U, 7U, 8U, & *10U - Practices & Games: Cooks Cordova Park
  • *10U, 12U, 14U, 16U & 19U - Practices & Home Games: SJC Sports Park
Practices - Coaches choose their practice times & will notify the parents of the players on their roster.
  • Players in Divisions: *10U, 12U, 14U, 16U & 19U practice 2x / week with a game on the weekend.
  • Players in 7U & 8U practice 1x / week with a game on the weekend.
  • Players in 6U practice immediately before their weekend game (Coaches MAY choose to have 1 practice during the week - Subject to field availability).
  • Playground (4U) & Jamboree (5U) have 1 session/week on Saturdays with our Professional trainers.
*10U Players may Practice or Play at either Park depending upon field space.

EXTRA PROGRAM - (Try Out ONLY - December & May)
  • A more competitive level of play than our Core program that requires "try-outs", usually in May.
  • Players in this program are accessed an ADDITIONAL fee of $100 in the Fall & $100 in the Spring seasons for professional training & custom uniforms.

Soccer Ball (for Practice)
  • Size 5 - 14U,, 16U & 19U
  • Size 4 - 10U & 12U
  • Size 3 - Playground, Jamboree, 6U, & 8U

COSTS: "IN REGION" & "AYSO NATIONAL"
The costs to register are now broken down in the "Shopping Cart" into "IN REGION" & "AYSO NATIONAL" Fees
"Region 87 Costs" and any Discounts are set each Fall & appear 1st.
The non-refundable $25.00 "AYSO National FEE" will be added to the shopping cart during Checkout.
  • *The "AYSO National Fee" is valid in any region: August 1 of the present year - July 31 of the following year.
  • $2.75 is added by Sports Connect to each new Order / Registration done SEPARATELY.
AVOID ADDITIONAL FEES: REGISTER ALL PLAYERS IN YOUR ACCOUNT AT THE SAME TIME TO INCUR THE $2.75 SPORTS CONNECT Service Fee ONLY ONE TIME!!

REFUND POLICY
Refunds requested by the Account Holder: will be issued at the end of the season. SUBMIT REFUND REQUESTS TO: [email protected]
Refunds will be issued to
  1. The Credit Card used for Registration, when possible.
  2. Checks will be issued to the Primary Account Holder's name & address as an alternative, if the Credit Card cannot be refunded.
Non- Refundable
  • $25 AYSO NATIONAL Fee (AYSO Insurance paid per child per year in effect August 1 present year - July 31 following year)
  • $2.75 / Order / Transaction Sports Connect Fee
Full REGION Refunds may be issued:
  • 4 weeks prior to the beginning of the season (Season Start date: 1st Saturday after Labor Day)
  • For any reason
Credit toward another season in Region 87 will be issued:
  • With less than 4 weeks prior to the beginning of the season & not more than 3 weeks after the season has begun
  • Deductions from refund amount MAY include but are NOT Limited to: uniform - (whether or not it was distributed), Photo Day Costs, Training Costs etc...
NO Refund nor Region 87 Credit will be issued:
  • After the beginning of the 3rd week of the season


Volunteers are Background Screened as follows:
  •  You will be taken to a third party site outside Sports Connect: Sterling Volunteers
  • This organization does Level 2 Background Checks
  • Your SS number will NOT be transmitted through our system
