2007 Field Permit
The regular season runs from the
first Saturday after Labor Day and extends for 10 weeks
Postponed games (due to weather
or other circumstances) will be made up only with field and referee
availability.

Practice Schedule
Guidelines
U6 teams may practice 2 times per week prior to
the start of the season (max. of 60 min each), and 30 minutes prior to each game
during the season. No weekday practices for
the U6 age group during season.
U8 teams may practice 2 times per week
plus 1 scrimmage (max. 90 min. each) prior to
the start of the season. One practice per week (max. of 90 min.) during the season
is allowed.
U10 + teams may practice 2 times per
week plus 1 scrimmage (max. 90 min. each) prior to
the start of the season. Two practices per week (max. of 90 min.) during the season
are allowed.
Goalkeeping
U8 and U10 goalkeepers must play
at least equal time on the field as in goal.
U12-U19 goalkeeping-to-field
time is unrestricted.
Picture Day
Picture Day
is held in mid-September
All players in Region 87 will
have a team and individual picture taken
A makeup day will be posted on
this website for anyone who missed Picture Day
Late Registration
If a player
registers after the final registration event, they will be placed on a
waiting list. They can be added to an existing team ONLY with board
approval. If no team is available, the player cannot play.

All
coaches (U8 and higher) will submit player rating info by November 1st.

Playoffs
U6 and U8 are
non-competitive divisions and do not have playoffs
U10 and up take place in
early to mid-November.
All teams will participate in
the playoffs, unless barred by the Board
Regional winners advance to Area
playoffs, which are held in early December

Plaques
- Plaques are given to all
players, and contain an individual and team photo courtesy of the
region.
- More picture items may be
ordered at added cost
- Plaques are usually
available in early November
Participation awards
- Participation awards will
be given to all players in U6 & U8
Trophies
- Season
- Trophies are awarded
to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
teams at the finish of the regular season
- Playoffs
- Trophies are awarded
to the 1st and 2nd place teams (U10 also
receives trophies for the two 3rd places teams, the
losing teams of the semi final games
Sportsmanship Awards
This program is
still under review.
All Stars
All Star teams are formed in the
U10, U12, and U14
All Star coaches are selected by
the Board, with input from Boys and Girls Directors, Coach
Administrator, Division coordinators, and Coaches
Players are recommended by their
coaches, and selected by the All Star coaches

A minimum of 1 player from
each team will be selected, with no more than 4 from any one team

Some divisions may have
enough teams to warrant 2 All Star team
All Star season
- Practices commence in
early December
- Games/Tournaments are
usually played in mid-January
Spring Season
Spring Soccer is GREATLY
dependant upon field availability;
Spring soccer is available for
U10 and up
There is no registration.
However, there may be a nominal fee.
Coaches must field their own
team
Costs for equipment and uniforms
are the responsibility of each team
